Blue Cross Hit With $3.8M Verdict for Excluding Doctor

Law360, Los Angeles (April 8, 2013, 9:58 PM EDT) -- In the largest verdict of its kind, a California jury on Monday awarded $3.8 million in compensatory damages to an urgent care physician who claimed Anthem Blue Cross shut him out of its provider network because he was an advocate for his patients.
