India's Essar Can't Shake Countervailing Duty On Steel

Law360, New York (April 9, 2013, 8:46 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Tuesday affirmed the 54.68 percent countervailing duty American authorities assigned to steel products from India's Essar Steel Ltd., saying the U.S. Department of Commerce based the number on a reasonable estimate of the subsidies the company received from India's government.
