Honda, Toyota, Nissan Recall 3M Vehicles Over Air Bag Defect

Law360, New York (April 11, 2013, 1:38 PM EDT) -- More than 3.3 million Honda Motor Co., Toyota Motor Corp. and Nissan Motor Co. vehicles are being recalled for a problem with their air bags that could cause them to fail to inflate or explode, sending metal particles into the interior, the companies said Thursday.

The air bags were all manufactured by Takata Corp. and were installed in vehicles manufactured and distributed throughout the world, according to Honda and Toyota representatives.
