Merrill Lynch Appeal Of ResMae Plan Stayed Again

Law360, New York (January 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- An appeal by Merrill Lynch of ResMae Mortgage Corp.'s approved reorganization plan has been stayed for a third time as the parties try to reach an agreement without mediation regarding releases granted to third parties and the disallowance of interest to disputed claims.

U.S. District Judge Mary Pat Thynge of the District of Delaware approved a stipulation between the parties to stay creditor Merrill Lynch's appeal until a mediation session scheduled for Mar. 17. Statements would then be due to mediator Connor Bifferato a week later,...
