Ralph Lauren Loses Polo Match

Law360, New York (October 21, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Fashion icon Ralph Lauren can’t stop the U.S. Polo Association from putting horse-and-rider logos on their garments, a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has decided.

After a two-week trial, the jury decided this week that three of the four logos at issue did not infringe on Polo Ralph Lauren's trademarks.
