NM Enviro Group Seeks Contempt Order In Building Code Row

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 7:50 PM EDT) -- A New Mexico environmental group asked a state appeals court Thursday to hold the state's Construction Industries Division in contempt of court for allegedly continuing to enforce environmental building codes after the appeals court ordered them set aside.

The New Mexico Environmental Law Center asked the Court of Appeals for the State of New Mexico to hold the CID in contempt for allegedly claiming publicly that it plans to ignore the court's decision to “set aside” revisions it had made to the state's environmental building codes....
