Samsung Sues CIT Over Korean, Mexican Washer Duties

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 6:11 PM EDT) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. hit the U.S. International Trade Commission with a complaint Friday in U.S. trade court, claiming the agency made a variety of errors when it levied punitive duties on washing machines from Mexico and South Korea earlier this year.

The action comes two months after the ITC unanimously voted in favor of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on large residential washers from South Korea and anti-dumping duties on washers from Mexico.
