FCC Urged To Back Wireless Competition In Spectrum Auction

Law360, Los Angeles (April 12, 2013, 7:39 PM EDT) -- In a setback to the nation's two largest wireless carriers, Verizon Communications Inc. and AT&T Inc., the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday urged the Federal Communications Commission to allow smaller companies to get a sizable slice of the low-frequency spectrum that will be auctioned off.
