Kodak To Haul In $210M In Sale Of Document Imaging Biz

Law360, New York (April 15, 2013, 6:45 PM EDT) -- Eastman Kodak Co. intends to sell some of its document imaging business to Japanese electronics maker Brother Industries Ltd. for $210 million as it continues to push toward a Chapter 11 exit, the company said Monday.

The proposed deal would see much of Kodak's scanners, image capture software and related services go to Brother, which produces printers, label makers, fax machines, sewing machines and similar products, according to Kodak.
