DePuy Should Pay $5M For Implant 'Catastrophe,' Jury Hears

Law360, Chicago (April 15, 2013, 6:59 PM EDT) -- A lawyer for a woman alleging Johnson & Johnson subsidiary DePuy Inc.'s ASR XL metal-on-metal hip was defective asked an Illinois jury Monday to award his client $5 million in compensatory damages, plus punitive damages, to send a message about the product he called a "catastrophe."
