Straw Donor Trial Begins For NYC Comptroller’s Associates

Law360, New York (April 16, 2013, 8:14 PM EDT) -- Two people tied to the campaign of New York City mayoral candidate John Liu tried to “corrupt” the democratic process by working to circumvent campaign donation laws, a federal prosecutor told a jury Tuesday.
