RE Bar Group Drops Suit Over Lawyerless Property Deals

Law360, New York (April 16, 2013, 7:22 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts federal judge on Tuesday tossed the Real Estate Bar Association's suit over a real estate firm's lawyerless property transactions after the REBA agreed not to challenge a dismissal bid in the wake of the company's dissolution.

U.S. District Judge Richard G. Stearns dismissed the case without prejudice after a motion by National Real Estate Information Services Inc. and its affiliates was left unopposed in the wake of NREIS’ ongoing dissolution of the company.
