11th Circ. Rejects NLRB Bid To Reinstate Fla. Casino Workers

Law360, New York (April 16, 2013, 7:01 PM EDT) -- The Eleventh Circuit ruled Tuesday that a lower court properly declined to grant the National Labor Relations Board's request to reinstate six workers at the Mardi Gras Casino in Florida who were purportedly terminated for participating in a union organizing campaign.

A three-judge panel affirmed a Florida federal court's decision not to grant the NLRB's request for temporary injunctive relief to reinstate the workers while it wrapped up administrative proceedings against Hartman & Tyner Inc., which does business as Mardi Gras Casino, and Hollywood Concessions Inc....
