Jan Marini Discontinues Second Eyelash Product

Law360, New York (January 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Cosmetics company Jan Marini Skin Research Inc. has discontinued its latest eyelash-plumping product, Age Intervention Eyelash Conditioner, while it fights off a patent infringement suit along with concerns from the U.S . Food and Drug Administration.

Two months ago, U.S. marshals confiscated more than 12,000 applicator tubes of a similar product, Age Intervention Eyelash, after the FDA raised concerns that the product could damage eyesight.
