USPTO May Have To Divert Fees, Examiners' Union Told

Law360, New York (April 17, 2013, 6:38 PM EDT) -- The head of the union representing patent examiners warned members Tuesday that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office could be forced to give some of the fees it collects this year to other government agencies as a result of congressionally mandated budget cuts known as the sequester.
