Ex-Sigma Analyst's Insider Trading Sentencing Delayed

Law360, New York (April 17, 2013, 4:23 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Wednesday agreed to put off the sentencing of a former analyst at hedge fund Sigma Capital Management for insider trading, pursuant to the government’s request, as he continues to cooperate with prosecutors.

U.S. District Judge Richard J. Sullivan signed off on the six-month sentencing adjournment for Jon Horvath, who previously admitted to being part of a ring whose members passed along confidential tips on Dell Inc. and Nvidia Corp.
