Sunshine Band's 'KC' Loses Sanctions Bid In Royalties Row

Law360, New York (April 18, 2013, 5:44 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Thursday refused to sanction the son of a former KC and the Sunshine Band member for alleging band founder Harry Wayne Casey illegally withheld royalty payments for songs his father wrote, saying the complaint was argued in good faith.
