Activist Fund Trian Beefs Up Pepsi, Mondelez Stakes

Law360, New York (April 19, 2013, 4:59 PM EDT) -- Activist investor Nelson Peltz's Trian Fund Management LP has taken sizable stakes in food and beverage giants PepsiCo Inc. and Mondelez International Inc., reportedly worth a combined $2.7 billion, Trian disclosed in a regulatory filing Friday.
