Law360, New York (April 19, 2013, 12:09 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has reached a deal with Anheuser-Busch InBev NV to end its challenge to the beer giant's $20.1 billion acquisition of Grupo Modelo SAB de CV, requiring the company to sell off Modelo's entire U.S. business, the parties said Friday.
The deal to send Modelo's U.S. operations to Constellation Brands Inc. largely mirrors the revised proposal the companies announced in February shortly after the DOJ sued to block the transaction.
