Texas Justices To Consider 3rd-Party Restitution To Insurers

Law360, New York (April 19, 2013, 4:51 PM EDT) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday agreed to take up the issue of whether an insurer can recover restitution from uninsured third parties, as well as the insured party, over a claim Gotham Insurance Co. was allegedly misled to pay in a dispute involving a 1997 oil and gas well blowout.
