Suntec Says It Didn't Get Word Of Steel Nail Duty Review

Law360, New York (April 19, 2013, 5:36 PM EDT) -- A Chinese steel nail manufacturer sued the U.S. Department of Commerce on Thursday claiming the anti-dumping duty margin assigned to the company more than quadrupled after it wasn't properly notified of an administrative review.

Suntec Industries Co. Ltd. normally faces an individualized 21.4 percent dumping margin on nails it ships to the U.S., but when the company didn't participate in a review of the duties in 2011, Commerce smacked Suntec with the China-wide rate of 118 percent.
