Travelers Dodges Defense Of Waste Co.'s Tussle With EPA

Law360, New York (April 22, 2013, 4:55 PM EDT) -- A federal judge ruled Thursday that The Travelers Indemnity Co. does not have to cover the more than $2 million a Waste Management Inc. predecessor spent quarreling with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency over its alleged pollution of a Texas river, saying the agency's enforcement actions do not constitute litigation that would trigger coverage.
