Comcast Can't Sink $400M Dow Verdict, Urethane Buyers Say

Law360, New York (April 22, 2013, 5:03 PM EDT) -- The urethane foam buyers who won a $400 million jury verdict against The Dow Chemical Co. told the court overseeing the price-fixing case Friday that the U.S. Supreme Court's recent ruling for Comcast Corp. doesn't require the class to be decertified.

Dow has been trying to get the verdict overturned ever since it came down in February, arguing most recently that the Comcast decision meant that the Kansas federal court should decertify the class of urethane buyers because their calculation model couldn't support classwide damages....
