Mining Co.'s State Permits Sink CWA Suit, 7th Circ. Told

Law360, Chicago (April 23, 2013, 3:36 PM EDT) -- A lawyer for Flambeau Mining Co. asked the Seventh Circuit on Tuesday to reverse a Wisconsin federal court's finding that it violated the Clean Water Act, saying the company complied with permit requirements and that the environmental group plaintiffs could have sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency instead.
