Debevoise Atty Tapped To Co-Lead SEC Enforcement Arm

Law360, San Diego (April 22, 2013, 11:02 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s new chair on Monday officially appointed her former colleague at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, onetime prosecutor Andrew J. Ceresney, to co-lead the agency’s division of enforcement.

SEC Chief Mary Jo White announced that Ceresney would serve as a co-director of the agency’s enforcement arm along with George Canellos, who became acting director of the enforcement division when Robert Khuzami stepped down in February.
