DOT Announces $474M In New Transportation Funding

Law360, New York (April 22, 2013, 5:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation is making a new round of infrastructure financing available — to the tune of $474 million — through its transportation investment grant program, the department said Monday.

Funds will be distributed in grants generally ranging in size from $10 million to $200 million to road, bridge, rail and port projects across the country through the government's Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery, or TIGER, program, according to a statement.
