Kyocera To Pay Kodak $5M To Settle All Patent Claims

Law360, New York (April 22, 2013, 6:00 PM EDT) -- Kyocera Corp. has agreed to pay bankrupt Eastman Kodak Co. nearly $5 million in a deal that would resolve all outstanding litigation and claims between the two, including Kyocera’s recent patent infringement allegations, according to a Monday court filing.

If approved by a New York bankruptcy judge, the settlement would end all litigation pending in California and New York federal courts between the companies over alleged patent infringement and royalty payments for patent licensing agreements.
