Spray Foam Cos. Hit With Latest Suit Over 'Toxic' Insulation
Law360, Miami (April 23, 2013, 5:51 PM EDT) -- A Florida couple on Monday filed the latest putative class action over allegedly defective spray polyurethane foam insulation against manufacturer Lapolla Industries Inc. and local distributor Air Tight Insulation of Mid-Florida LLC.
Robert and Cynthia Gibson launched a nationwide class action in the Middle District of Florida, the ninth such suit targeting spray foam insulation makers and installers over alleged respiratory and neurological injuries caused by the products.
