FTA Greenlights $140M Detroit Light Rail Line

Law360, New York (April 23, 2013, 4:57 PM EDT) -- The Federal Transit Administration has given a final environmental clearance to a proposed $140 million light rail line that could bolster Detroit's economy and real estate development market, according to a Monday announcement.

Specifically, the FTA declared that one of the proposed versions of the Woodward Avenue Streetcar Project meets all of the requirements set under the National Environmental Policy Act, according to a record of decision.
