Steel Cos. Ask Fed. Circ. To Revive Mexican Duties

Law360, New York (April 24, 2013, 4:44 PM EDT) -- Two American steel producers urged the Federal Circuit on Friday to overturn the findings of a U.S. International Trade Commission sunset review that in 2011 revoked anti-dumping duties on Mexican stainless steel sheet and strip.

North American Stainless and Allegheny Ludlum Corp. told the appeals court that both the commission and the U.S. Court of International Trade — which affirmed the decision in November — had incorrectly concluded that domestic steel producers wouldn't be harmed if the duties were lifted.
