Bill To Legalize Online Gambling Introduced In Pa.

Law360, Philadelphia (April 23, 2013, 5:48 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania state legislator introduced a bill Monday that would legalize online gambling in the state, a move she said was needed to compete with neighboring states that have already forged ahead with Internet-based gaming.

Rep. Tina Davis, D-Bucks, said her bill, which would allow Pennsylvania casinos to offer games over the Internet, was needed in order to ensure that continued growth from the state’s foray into legalized gambling that began in 2004.
