Fla. Senate Shoots Down Plan To Close Pension Program

Law360, Miami (April 30, 2013, 5:53 PM EDT) -- The Florida Senate voted Tuesday against closing the state pension program for future public employees, effectively killing a top priority for House Speaker Will Weatherford that opponents said during an impassioned debate was unnecessary and would throw state workers under the bus.
