9th Circ. Scraps Northwest Land Deal Over Wildlife Concerns

Law360, San Francisco (April 25, 2013, 9:16 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday reversed a consent decree between environmental groups and government agencies over a Pacific Northwest land use policy, finding that a Washington federal court was wrong to approve a decree that unlawfully amends how the policy protects 400 rare species.
