Tyson Faces Gender Discrimination Class Action

Law360, New York (January 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A female manager has filed a proposed class action against Tyson Foods Inc. for gender discrimination, alleging a company representative lied to her about her position being eliminated in order to replace her with a man.

In a suit filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, Deborah Stanley said her experience is typical and accuses the company of following a policy and practice of discrimination against women.
