Blakes, Davis Graham Aid Capstone's $650M BHP Mine Buy

Law360, New York (April 29, 2013, 2:04 PM EDT) -- Mining giant BHP Billiton Ltd. has agreed to sell off a copper mining project in Arizona, as well as related railroad operations, to Canada-based Capstone Mining Co. for $650 million as part of its divestment strategy, according to a Monday statement.

Per a definitive agreement, BHP will be handing over its open-pit Pinto Valley operation, as well as an associated railroad company, to Capstone. The deal, which is pending regulatory approvals, is expected to close sometime in the latter half of the year, BHP said....
