Pa. Justices To Mull Contractors' Statutory Injury Liability

Law360, Philadelphia (April 29, 2013, 4:34 PM EDT) -- The Pennsylvania Supreme Court agreed Friday to hear arguments over a ruling allowing a jury to determine whether general contractors could rely on the statutory employer defense, a body of state law protecting them from liability for injuries sustained by their workers, in a personal injury suit.
