Lawmakers Seek To Extend FMLA To Same-Sex Couples

Law360, New York (April 29, 2013, 7:43 PM EDT) -- U.S. lawmakers on Thursday introduced legislation that would broaden the employee protections of the Family and Medical Leave Act to allow workers to take unpaid time off to care for a same-sex spouse or partner and additional family members.
