Blue Shield, Quest Say Lab Monopoly Suit Doesn't Hold Water

Law360, San Francisco (April 29, 2013, 8:25 PM EDT) -- Blue Shield of California Life & Health Insurance Co. and Quest Diagnostics Inc. urged a California federal judge Monday to toss claims that the companies conspired to create an illegal diagnostic-test monopoly, arguing that the plaintiffs haven't plausibly argued that the companies' relationship harms competition.
