No New Trial For Brocade Exec In Backdating Case

Law360, New York (January 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has denied a request by the former chief executive officer of Brocade Communications Systems Inc. for a new trial based on an allegation that a key witness lied during testimony.

At a hearing Wednesday, Judge Charles R. Breyer of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York rejected the request. Reyes will be sentenced later this month.
