Brandywine, Verizon Settle $20M Philly Land Deal

Law360, Philadelphia (April 30, 2013, 1:07 PM EDT) -- Verizon Properties Inc. and Brandywine Operating Partnership LP on Monday settled their fight over a stalled downtown Philadelphia land deal in which the parties had sparred about the exact price, slightly more than $20 million, at which Brandywine was to buy the land.

According to filings in Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Brandywine dropped the suit it filed against Verizon in February, and Verizon in turn dropped its March countersuit, both of which centered on a property leased by Brandywine at 1717 Arch St.
