Fla. Lawmakers OK Plan To Spend $200M Mortgage Settlement

Law360, Miami (April 30, 2013, 8:36 PM EDT) -- The Florida House of Representatives on Tuesday unanimously passed a plan to allocate the remaining $200 million of the state's share of a $25 billion national settlement with mortgage servicers, directing most to state affordable housing programs and the court system to ease the foreclosure backlog.
