$65M Lawrence Livermore Wrongful Firing Suit Goes To Jury

Law360, San Francisco (April 30, 2013, 6:36 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory violated employment contracts with 130 longtime workers when it laid them off in 2008 rather than eliminate temporary employees first, a California jury heard Tuesday during closing arguments in a $65 million wrongful termination lawsuit.
