IP Firm Leason Ellis Sues To Shut Down Trademark Scammer

Law360, New York (May 1, 2013, 4:59 PM EDT) -- Intellectual property firm Leason Ellis LLP on Tuesday filed a lawsuit in New York aimed at shutting down a business that charges exorbitant fees for trademark registration services and gives bad legal advice to prospective customers, saying the scam has confused some of the firm's clients.
