DLA Piper Lures IP Litigators From Kirkland

Law360, San Diego (May 1, 2013, 11:01 PM EDT) -- DLA Piper said Wednesday that it had picked up two litigators from Kirkland & Ellis LLP to round out the firm’s intellectual property and technology practice at its Chicago office.

Paul Steadman, who works on complex patent, trade secret, trademark, copyright and other litigation involving IP, joined the firm as a partner. Matthew Satchwell signed on with the firm as of counsel and will continue to focus on advising companies in the software, semiconductor, power electronics, mobile communications, automotive and medical device industries.
