Chevron Nabs Pittsburgh-Area Land For Possible Regional HQ

Law360, Philadelphia (May 2, 2013, 6:35 PM EDT) -- In a move seen by Allegheny County officials as a possible step toward the construction of a regional headquarters for the company outside of Pittsburgh, Chevron Corp. announced Wednesday it had acquired 61 acres of land just northwest of the city.

Chevron said it had had acquired two adjoining parcels of pand totaling 61 acres along Interstate 376, including the site of a Kmart Corp. store scheduled to close in July, as part of the latest step in the company's efforts to beef up its presence...
