Usana Cleared By SEC, Still Faces Shareholder Suits

Law360, New York (January 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, after an informal inquiry, has declined to take action against Usana Health Sciences Inc, but the Utah-based vitamin maker still faces a consolidated shareholder lawsuit.

Usana announced on Friday that it received a letter from the Salt Lake Regional office of the SEC saying the company would not face enforcement.
