Wal-Mart Shifts Wage Suit To Federal Court

Law360, New York (January 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has removed to federal court a proposed class action that alleges the retailer failed to fully compensate workers who left the company.

The suit, which was first brought in 2005 in the Circuit Court for the State of Oregon for the County of Multnomah, was moved on Wednesday to the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
