Cypress Hits GSI With Another SRAM Patent Suit

Law360, New York (May 3, 2013, 1:25 PM EDT) -- Cypress Semiconductor Corp. opened up the latest front in its legal war with GSI Technology Inc. in California federal court Wednesday, accusing its rival of infringing five more patents for static random access memory technology.

Cypress has already sued GSI over a different set of memory patents in Minnesota federal court and the U.S. International Trade Commission, and GSI has fired back with an antitrust suit accusing Cypress of trying to monopolize the SRAM market.
