Law360, New York (May 24, 2013, 12:55 PM EDT) -- Federal workplace agencies are tightening their belts and taking a number of steps in response to the recent sequestration budget cuts. Agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board and the U.S. Department of Labor, among others, have begun to implement staff furloughs, hiring freezes, training cuts and other measures to reduce costs. Similar steps can be anticipated from state agencies that receive federal funding.
