DOJ Urges DC Circ. To Toss Tech-Policy Watchdog's FOIA Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (May 8, 2013, 8:10 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday urged the D.C. Circuit to affirm a district court’s ruling that dismissed the Electronic Frontier Foundation's suit seeking a document containing the DOJ's legal advice to the FBI on when it can seek records from nongovernmental entities, including telephone companies.
